As a seasoned luxury traveler, I must commend Portnerhof for exceeding my stringent criteria in a truly remarkable manner. The historical setting of the excellent room not only provided a cozy retreat but also transported me to a setting reminiscent of a Lord of the Rings movie. Despite a minor hiccup with check-in after 3 pm, where we found the hotel closed and struggled to gain access, the sheer beauty of the place overshadowed this inconvenience. The breakfast buffet was a delightful surprise, offering a myriad of delectable dishes that catered to every palate. The presence of a terrace allowed me to bask in the serene surroundings while savoring my morning coffee. In conclusion, Portnerhof stands out as a gem in the realm of luxury spa and wellness hotels, offering an unforgettable experience that I wholeheartedly recommend to all seeking a blend of opulence and tranquility.
